

Casa Masayuki hosts live performances, exhibits, author readings and writers workshops, CD release and listening parties, meeting space, seminars and workshops, and art studio space.
Casa Masayuki offers events that are produced by Casa Masayuki, and also events produced by outside organizations. Events include trainings, seminars, and workshops.

Ethnic Studies Now-Sacramento
Ethnic Studies Now-Sacramento is part of the Ethnic Studies Now Coalitionethnicstudiesnow.org consisting of professors, teachers, administrators and community members who come together to pass and ethnic studies requirement for the Sac City Unified School District. Since the passing of Resolution 4444 creating the ethnic studies course, Ethnic Studies Now-Sacramento has worked politically to support AB101 and AB2016, legislation supporting Ethnic Studies Courses and Curriculum throughout California. Ethnic Studies Now-Sacramento also works to support the implantation of the Ethnic Studies course by writing the curriculum, teacher professional development plan and text-book.
Casa Masayuki hosts Ethnic Studies Now-Sacramento steering committee meeting every other Sunday morning.

Center for Black Literature Reception
In February 2016 Casa Masayuki hosted the Center for Black Literature from Medgar Evers (CUNY) for a reception in honor of their first National Black Writers Satellite Conference. This conference was part of the 22nd Annual College of Education Multicultural Education Conference at California State University Sacramento on February 27th 2016.
